Job Description
The Technical Consultant and Systems Analyst, under the guidance of the Director of Information Technology, will play a vital role in expanding and securing TECKPATH's technological infrastructure in line with our Managed IT Services. This individual will manage server applications, regulate changes to fortify our front-line devices like workstations, laptops, and mobile devices, rectify technical issues, and aid in the training and advancement of TECKPATH staff. This includes generating comprehensive documentation. The position entails proactive involvement in devising and implementing solutions that address the needs of the organization. -- In the dynamic world of managed IT services, the ability to multitask is paramount. While the role is predominantly remote, the chosen candidate will offer technical support to team members across various locations. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service quality and proactive in problem resolution. Job Description Ensure the seamless operation of all online systems and applications. Provide prompt day-to-day support using professional communication. Display a strong knowledge of Windows Server, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, VMWare, and Microsoft Azure, including both Windows 365 and Office 365. Efficiently handle the onboarding and offboarding of employees. Support of Windows 10 and 11, including configuration, and deployment of desktops and laptops. User management within Active Directory. Set up network printers and copiers, liaising with vendors when required. Conduct basic network troubleshooting and management. Manage the trouble ticket queue: opening, updating, and closing tickets as tasks are completed. Oversee the moves, adds, and changes of various IoT devices. Troubleshoot and resolve file and print issues. Implement technology solutions in line with organizational needs. Monitor and maintain cybersecurity compliance that aligns with TECKPATH's IT policies and procedures. Design new reports and dashboards using industry standards and best practices. Perform Azure and Active Directory Administration, including user account administration and resource control. Maintain high knowledge of current and future technologies and trends. Some travel may be required. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a managed IT services environment. Ability to plan and manage a variety of IT projects. Capacity to respond quickly and effectively when IT problems arise. Capability to apply critical thinking to mitigate common IT risks. Excellent communication skills to articulate system processes to other employees in a clear and concise manner. Proficient in Windows/Server environment, Windows operating systems, vSphere, Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, Intune. Proven skills in troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues. Capacity to provide technical support, deployment, configuration, and installation of computer systems. Experience with installing and supporting software packages, drivers, plug-ins, service packs, and security patches, etc. Ability to prioritize work activities with minimal guidance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Ability to multitask, show initiative, and communicate priorities. Valid Driver's License and personal transportation. As a valued member of our remote team, you must have access to a quiet, dedicated workspace and high-speed internet connection. Some travel may be required, for which a valid driver's license and personal transportation are necessary.
